Research Paper Topic: Freewrite

The research topic that I am interested in is portraying human minds in film. I think that the movie i will use is A Beautiful Mind.  As of right now i cant think of deeper on this topic. So the reason i am doing it is because i think Schuzophrenia is a really interesting mental illness. :( this is gonna be hard

ENG 101 Brainstorm

For the recent essay that is assigned to us i will be writing about Temple Grandin. I actually found her work and her pretty interesting. I fins the thesis statement interesting, "human beings do not really need emotion to connect with other human beings or animals or to behave morally with a sense of right and wrong." Im not sure yet whether or not i agree or disagree with the statement, although i think that Temple Grandin proves that you dont really need emotions to behave morally. She is autistic so that comes to play when she made the stairway to heaven. Other people who own slaughter house's who are born with emotions dont usually behave morally when it comes to killing the animal. So it can go either way.

ENG 101 Blog post # 1

My name is Shaheda Adalsha. I am 18 years old (yayyy) Right now im a Liberal Arts major at Laguardia Community College. I am undecided right now as to what i want to major in, i know its between the medical field or to study law. I think i am both a humanities person and a science person. I think they both can relate to one another in different aspects of each other. I think people in the US today are and arent scientific. Science is evolving and some people just arent. Some people are just stuck in their ways when it comes to certain things, such as biological engineering. Some people are for it some are against it. Either way science is evolving.  To be honest im just trying to get through this cluster, because its sorta like high school. I like that its a cross between science and humanities, because its a  bit of everything. I think that humanist and scientist do have some things that are meaningful to one another, but they may disagree on certain things. For example philosophers elaborate on their thinking and think deeply on things, and writers, well certain writers may or may not agree what philosophy says.
